Tata Archery Academy was inaugurated by Dr. J. J. Irani, Managing Director, Tata Steel on 4th October 1996 with the unfurling of its flag and release of its logo. With a single gesture the lives and hopes of many a youngster, especially from the Eastern Singhbhum area, where the Steel major Tata Steel is located, and those from elsewhere, received a boost.

With dedicated efforts of Coaches ,who encourage the  youngsters and keep a close watch  on their progress, each Archer is  bound to hit , the bull's eye while  'Aiming for Gold".
